Why I Started this Blog
Determination Is The Key
I've always followed one simple rule: "Be the person you want to see in the world". When I was in the hospital, I didn't have anyone who was in my position who could be a role model on how to handle what was going on. I was scared, but everyone around me kept acting like everything was okay, so I played along to avoid making anyone sad or worried about me. I kept up the positive attitude, and my positivity became my strength. I wanted to get back on the motorcycle, so my passion for riding became my determination. I was going to prove that nothing could keep me down, so I worked hard to get back on the bike. Now I want to spread this determination and positivity to others who are in need of someone to look up to in troubling times, especially female riders, because I know too well what it's like to always be told I'm "too fragile" and shouldn't ride.
